Dr. Bashir Abu Sabe

Summary

Dr. Bashir Abu Sabe is a specialist in Hausa Literature at the Department of Nigerian Languages, Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, Nigeria. His area of expertise includes Hausa Popular Literature, Comparative Literature and Hausa film studies. The researcher recently concludes a research sponsored by TETFUND on late Hajiya Barmani Choge (a leading woman singer in Hausa society).

Academic Qualifications

Dr. Sabe obtained his PhD in African Studies (Hausa Literature) from Cairo University, Egypt in 2016 and his M. A Hausa and B. A Hausa from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria.
