RE-OPENING OF THE UNIVERSITY AFTER THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Sequel to the assessment of the state of readiness and compliance with NCDC COVID-19 Protocols for re-opening of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, conducted by the Department of Higher Education and the Katsina State COVID-19 Emergency Response Committee on 14th October, 2020, and the approval on the re-opening of the university by the Department of Higher Education with Ref No. KTS/DHE/UMYU/247/VOL.XVII/3771, dated 16th October, 2020 the University Management wish to inform the general public on the re-opening of the University on Monday 19th October, 2020.
Students and the general public are to note the following itinerary of activities for the resumption:

|ii||Continuation of registration for both fresh and returning students||Monday 19th – Friday 30th October, 2020|
Students are to note that the University had procured safety items for the COVID-19 protocols, therefore all staff and students are to sustain strict observance of the said protocols.
